Same day Implants/Immediate Implants

Implants that are placed into the bone at the time of tooth extraction are known as same day Implants or immediate implants.

After this, the implant is allowed to integrate into the bone for 3-6 months. Once the implant healing is satisfactory, the crown portion of the tooth is replaced.

In the interim period between the two phases, a temporary replacement option can be given, especially in the case of front teeth (aesthetic areas).

In order for same day implants to be done, it is integral that bone quality and medical health is optimum at the time of implant placement. Our Implantologist will do an in-depth evaluation in order to assess if you are the right candidate for same day implants.
